lachicalatinabex Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 Hi Guys, Does anyone know if there is a visa that allows you to be sponsored by an employer without having a trade/skill on the SOL/ENSOL list? I am a qualified teacher back home but my qualifications are not recognised here. I am working on a cattle property as a home tutor and the family want to sponsor me to stay. It is impossible for people in remote areas to find people who want to stay in the area for long periods of time and even harder to find good governess/home tutors to help educate their children. I have been in the bush for 18 months and no desire to leave here. I have searched the immi.gov.au website a million times trying to find a way I can stay here without having to pay $18k to go back to uni to train to do what I already do. It is just so frustrating when there are people out here who want to sponsor me. Any ideas? Anyone else had similar experiences? Anyone done the GTP and found a way to teach here without retraining?
