Guest AmandainOz
Hi, can anyone help me. I'm a nurse here in Oz on a 457 sponsorship and I have applied for an indepedant PR (136 visa). I was allocated a CO on 30th October (fantastic!!). He requested more info i.e police checks, medicals, employment references etc, and gave me a deadline of 27th November. I've sent all the information requested, but what normally happens now? I know I will have to leave Australia (I'll go to NZ or Fiji) but I have no idea when I will have to do this and how long I will have to be gone for. I phoned immigration but they would not put me through to my CO and weren't terribly helpful. Thanks guys, Amanda
Guest Graham&kym
You can always apply for a bridging visa, takes about 2 weeks, do it in person at Diiim in Murray st . Perth. Saves you leaving the country!. Regards Graham
