Guest Sherlock Zones Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I have the PMI PMP qualification and studied through the IT Skills Academy, [thats were I am currently employed] You can study the course for a £95 suscription but you have to source the examination yourself either at Pearson vue or Prometric, I cant remember which one. I think the Prince 2 is less paperwork whereas the PMI you have to give your work history which takes a while but is probably worth it. Prince 2 sold 30,000 exams in the last two yaers which makes me think the UK market is flooded but i am not sure about the Australian market. The PMI exam cost me £300 and took 3 hours, I am not sure about the P2 exam but it should be easy enough to find out. I am looking for PM work in Australia once I get my Visa, we are at the waiting for a case officer stage which we are hoping for any week soon having applied early last year. What is you position?
