Thirty-two-year-old Nguyen Duy Hai has been undergoing physical therapy at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and is using a walking frame to exercise his left leg. The metre-wide tumour had been growing on HAI'S leg for more than 30 years, despite an amputation at the knee 14 years ago. The growth was removed on January 5.
