DonnaC Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 Travelled and lived in Australia a few years back and loved it.....have always wanted to move Down Under. Finally after much persuading on my part, got my Other Half (OH) to come to Australia for a holiday. He absolutely loved it!! Now the question is...what the hell do we do now!! I have friends in Melbourne who have offered to sponsor us, or we could go down the normal route as we are both on the 'wanted' list. Then there is the whole where to live dilema!! I dont know if I really want to live in Melbourne...as it gets quite cold and part of wanting to move is to get away from that. Are any visas faster than others?? Some help on getting started would be much gratefully received!! Ive looked through a few threads on here and got no idea what all the form numbers, and visa numbers are about!! its all a bit over whelming really. I would suggest taking a peak here: http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/ and then having a word with an agent to see what your best option is.
