How long does it take for medicals to be processed (not ehealth)?

Hi folks,

 

Does anyone know how long it takes for paper medicals to be processed (not ehealth)?

 

All it says on the DIAC website is:

 

"Panel doctors in many countries are now able to process your health examinations using eHealth – this means that your health results can be processed electronically, often in minutes, instead of four to six weeks."

 

Does this mean 4-6 weeks after docs are received in Australia? Does anyone have any experience of how long it actually takes when not using ehealth?

 

Just debating whether to go to our local panel doctor in Slovenia or take a 16-hour round trip to Munich to be seen at an ehealth clinic!
