Every city has a soul club (music that is) where all the ex-pats meet. There is a weekend coming up in Sydney. (See the Socialising calander) I used to go to Wigan Casino and have met so many people who I knew there (20 years ago) and we all travel interstate supporting each of the venues every few months. It isn't the beer swilling around the dance floor type of scene. Nor is it a pick up type of scene! But it is a very danceable friendly, sociable scene. If you like old 60ts rare soul music then this is it!
