dunnyboy Posted January 3, 2011 Share Posted January 3, 2011 hi, steve n michele here...new to the forums but not to aus itself. michele's family emigrated to the perth area around 30 years ago and we are hoping to follow suit in a few years time. we are just starting to look into the visa application , but it does seem to be a minefield...seems to have changed a bit from the old £10 pom passage:biggrin: we know the area very well and wouldnt need advice on where to live...but any ideas on the grey areas of emigrating and just general thoughts will be good. dunnyboy Posted January 4, 2011 Author Share Posted January 4, 2011 micheles brother and sister live in perth and emigrated in the 80's, all uk born..micheles mum still lives in the uk..too old old for her to emigrate..although she spends more time there than here. she will have be on a year long holiday by this summer.
