Guest CLAIREB73
I am now the proud owner of an 820 Visa via post 2 weeks after lodging it! I didn't have an interview or request for more info apart from one phone call the other day to clear up some confusion about where I have been living. My advice is to lodge the application in person, in manilla folders, clearly marked with few staples, just mainly paper clips and elastic bands to hold it all together. Get there early as the queue starts at 8.20 and be nice! To everyone..... I think it helps! I was told by the officer that I am allowed to work while on a bridging visa and just to come in when it kicks in to change the conditions of it, this has taken the pressure off and meant I could start looking for work.
