Allowances for Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and direct connections between India and USA, Bermuda and Canada will remain at 2 pieces for economy. All other routes ( including Aus to the UK,USACanada,and vv) will be 1 Piece. Excess fee for bags weighing more than 23Kg will be increased from GBP25 to GBP40. Also, the allowance of an additional piece of sporting gear is being removed;from that date sporting goods will be counted as part of regular allowance. BA is giving additional allowances to those with Silver or Gold status with BA travelling in economy and will be entitled to 2 pieces in economy on all routes.
