Guest digger Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 hi all, Im in the application process at the moment, im very keen to move to adelaide and try to carry on with my trade as a heating engineer/gas fitter/plumber etc and we are applying for state sponsorship, it would be very helpful if we could get some good advise as to what areas to live in, what work is out there for trades like mine, schooling, and anything else you could advise us on, i would also like to hear from from people who also have applied for state sponsorship and how they are doing. many regards Gary:biggrin: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
suzer Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 Welcome:) The most important thing to find out is whether your qualifications transfer over, or if you will need to do any additional training when you arrive. Lots of tradies move to Adelaide...and we need them! I've been waiting quite some time for our plumber to come over, because he's too busy!
