Guest bob and ginnie
The short answer is . . . . No You have to find someone you can get on with before you can settle down. "Marriages of convenience" are the bain of the immigration dep't and just make life harder for genuine people who have married Australians and want to live together in Australia. Watch the film "Green Card". Immigration people have a sixth sense about relationships and know if they are not genuine. They'll just stick you on the next plane home. If you want to live in Australia, do it the right way and apply from Australia House.
