Guest natski Posted December 16, 2008 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Hi all Hopefully arriving in Sydney about 12th-13th January (booking flights last minute!) and wondered what the best idea is with regards to renting? Obviously all our stuff will not be there so was looking into Holiday rentals as we will need it to be fully furnished. Has anyone got any reccommendations? We are heading to northern beaches and ideally around Curl Curl/ Warriewood/ Narrabean etc but would not mind travelling... There is a lovely caravan park in North Narrabeen beside Narrabeen lakes and just across the road from the lagoon, rock pool and beach. Their website is www.sydneylakeside.com.au and you should be able to get all the info you need off there. It's not just for tents and caravans they also have chalets and statics onsite too. I know it's the school holidays and they will be busy but it's worth a look. Apart for Manly I don't think there is any serviced apartments in the areas you are looking as we searched high and low when we arrived. We ended up staying in the Medina serviced apartments in North Ryde which were perfectly adequate for us. They also have some down near Darling harbour just have a look at www.medina.com.au.
