It's a lovely suburb only 25 minutes drive from Perth City. There are two primary school and one high school all are excellent. Property in Woodvale is quite expensive, $500,000+ for an average 4 x 2 bedroom house. There are two shopping centres, banks etc. Surrounding suburbs are Edgewater to the north and Kingsley to the south, both of which are older than Woodvale.
