Guest kareca Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 we have chosen to move to perth as i have family there , they live in woodvale, please can u tell me what it is like there, aslo, what are some of the surrounding areas, near there, is woodvale a suburb of a bigger areathank you dawn We've been in Perth 18 years and lived in Woodvale for 13 years. It's a lovely suburb only 25 minutes drive from Perth City. There are two primary school and one high school all are excellent. Property in Woodvale is quite expensive, $500,000+ for an average 4 x 2 bedroom house. There are two shopping centres, banks etc. Surrounding suburbs are Edgewater to the north and Kingsley to the south, both of which are older than Woodvale. Also Woodvale is only 10 minutes to the beach.
