Both are quite industrial and run-down, although with the proximity to the city, things will change long-term. I'd check out Yarraville, Newport, Williamstown or Seddon but it depends on what you like and what you need. Sorry I've got no info on Schools. Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au is where all the estate agents advertise houses for rent/sale if you want to do some research. Good luck!!
