Citizenship application- name on the birth certificate is from the the passport

“Greetings, everyone! I apologize if my question seems trivial, but I’m feeling a bit anxious and would like to have some clarity. Can anyone tell me if the name on the birth certificate can be different from the name on the passport without any space between the names?

Example:
Actual name: X Y Z
X (last name) Y Z (first name)
Birth certificate: X YZ
