LondonGuy2013
Hello All, My partner is currently on an 820 and will be eligible to apply for the 801 in October and as we have had a baby we want to apply Feb/March time an exemption of 3+ months to go to the UK to be with my family for 6-12 months. Immigration have confirmed that She can be granted the 801 offshore but they could not give me a straight answer if the subclass 801 granted offshore is the 801 automatically activated or is there a time limit to have to return to Australia for the Visa to be activated - or if once granted you get the 5 year Travel facility etc that comes with PR? Does anyone have any experience of this scenario perhaps? Thanks
paulhand
It doesn’t need to be ‘activated’.
LondonGuy2013
Thanks Paul, really appreciate the reply. So my partner would not be under any time limit to come back to Australia (excluding the 5 year travel facility)?
