I am a Secondary School Teacher with 85 points. I've applied for the 189 but this may be a loooong wait. (Which I am ok with but exploring options.) I am looking at the 491 and confused by the 'State Sponship Agency'. Does this mean I need a school to sponsor me? Or is this like the 190 where the state will 'simply' sponsor me? I suppose I am asking can I simply apply for the 491 for South Australia? My occupation is on the list. Any links or advice is greatly appreciated.
