mooona
Hi! I have a quite complex question but let's see if someone is able to help! So I'm currently in Australia with the eVisitor visa 651 (Multiple entries with 3 months from each arrival) and I have lodged a NZ Family visa sc 461. My BVA will kick in when the visitor visa expires in 3 months but I might have to leave the country before that and therefore be outside of Australia when the original 90 days of the tourist visa will expire and BVA would kick in. The question is: Am I able to get a BVB to travel before the BVA starts and then return Australia with BVB to avoid starting the 3 month tourist visa again? My eVisitor is valid for 6 more months but I wouldn't want to start the 90 days tourist period from the beginning and therefore be waiting for the work rights. Hope you understood what I was trying to explain! Thank you so much for all the help!!
paulhand
Afraid not. You can get the BVB before your BVA comes into effect, but if you leave before your eVisitor expires it will still be valid for your next entry, resetting the 3 months.
