Getting into the demolition/labouring industry

Hi everyone!

Was wondering if there is anyone who might have advice or information about how i can get back into this?

I havent done it for years because i did warehousing since i came here in 2007, with the exception of short term labouring jobs here and there

I have held a white card since 2013

I have been contacting building companies and recruitment agencies for this type of thing and have noticed that the requirements have gotten much stricter, as in you need recent references, or knowledge about tools i havent actually used before (mainly a grinder)

I am extremely single minded about this, i have recently become very red pilled in terms of the warehousing industry and now realise i would be a mug if i choose to continue on this pointless pursuit  at least in sydney, the only long term positions arent worth working in, pay poorly, are always in remote locations, and inhabited by the type of people who dont even converse at lunchtime, highly depressing places

The good ones of course, arent available, because no one wants to leave, and to be honest they arent ideal for me anyway in the long run

When i came here and lived in the western suburbs i hated it and complained, until i followed my sisters lead and moved to inner sydney and i love it!, its like being in another dimension

But its impossible to sustain a lifestyle here doing what im currently doing, i need to get back into demolition which is something i have some experience with, and specifically within inner sydney, cbd, and eastern suburbs

The days of travelling at a ridiculous hour to places like prestons, blacktown, greystanes without a car are coming to an end, i just wont do it anymore as a long term thing

I am willing to even take a pay cut temporarily, until they are satified i am worth the normal wage

Can anyone help?

thankyou
