SatNav.

The first thing I would buy if I went to a different town/city/country.

I know my way around where we are and still love my SatNav...

He He but they can be quite dangerous in aus in the country. Just recently a couple had to be rescued up a country dirt road as they had plugged into their sat nave the shortest route home to Melbourne and ended up on fire tracks in the hills.

My son who lives in the country in the mallee said that they locals hate they have to keep looking for city people who are relying on their sat navs.

People have trialled them and say they take them round the world to get to where they know is very short.

They are also only as good as the maps loaded in.

I will stick to the maps :biglaugh:

Maps are ok unless a woman is reading them. Its safer to shout at a sat nav than my wife.

It has to be a sat nav everytime. I would have never got around Melbourne if I was to rely on the Melways, I can't read a one page map let alone a telephone directory sized map book:wacko:
