Wanted: Workshop Controller / Lead Technician - Western Sydney, NSW

One of Australia's leading tyre and auto service companies is looking for vibrant Workshop Controllers/2ICs to assist in the day to day running of their shops in the Western Sydney area. 

Role
  
This lead technician role primarily involves organising and supervising all aspects of mechanical work for multi-brand light vehicles; ensuring staff productivity through efficient scheduling of jobs, proper delegation, and effective team management. In this role, you are also expected to assist the Workshop Manager with front line customer service work, and other relevant administrative functions, with the goal of achieving total customer satisfaction, increased sales and business profitability. 
 
Requirements

• trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic and a valid driver's license 
• current or previous lead role experience in the automotive retail service industry
• excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
• well-honed organisational skills and a strong drive to succeed.
