j4y
Hi all, I have recently been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and been prescribed meds. I am looking to apply for a 189 visa. My question is, could this cause an issue when going through the medicals. Thanks
j4y
Hello, Is anybody able to shed some light on this? Can AF be cause for a visa grant to be declined? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks
George Lombard
Hi Cattie, Medical issues are determined according to quite precise costing contained in the Department's internal documentation known as the "Notes for Guidance". If you're only taking warfarin then it might be ok but impossible to confirm without considering the precise details of your condition as against what it says in the Notes for Guidance.
