Mel855
I applied for a PRospective partner visa in Jan 2016. I am a UK citizen but I live in Bulgaria. I have been asked to attend my medical and produce my police checks so I am assuming things are now progressing. However, my case officer has nOw asked for a single status certificate. I have looked on the UK GOvernemnt website and it clearly states that they will NOT provide this to another commonwealth country. I have informed my case officer of this but her reply was still not clear as to what she wants me to do. If she insists on one but I can't get one what can I do? Is it possible to sign an affidavit to confirm this? Many thanks

wrussell
If you are in Bulgaria, you should be able to get it.
