Kpnuts
I have lodged a 143 CPV which, to current time scales should be issued in the summer of 2017. I am about to embark to Aus and have applied for a Sub Class 600 visa with a 12 month stay period. This visa has come with an 8503 condition imposed on it. Is this normally imposed on a 12 month stay? It will hopefully be immaterial as the 143 will supersede it but was just covering any unexpected circumstances should the 143 be further delayed. Bungo
It can happen. It doesn't strike me as being either normal or abnormal.

Thanks, I am aware that 8503 is mandatory for Family stream or the requirement to be sponsored, neither of which apply in my case. If I was over 65 years of age then again it may not have been applied as I would be able to get a bridging visa on an aged CPV. I am just trying to get the measure of the autonomy that Case Officers may enjoy.
