Guest spray21 Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Some airlines will up to you 40kg if you can prove you are emigrating - eg show visa & book oneway ticket! Best to get written confirmation though, just in case there are problems at check in - I have heard of people being charged for excess luggage and being unable to prove that they were allowed to have more. It may be trickier to get double-allowance if you are stopping over, esp multiple stops - the only way to be sure is to contact the airlines themselves.
