I'm looking at doing some travelling whilst over there but mostly staying with relatives. was wondering if anyone with experience could possibly tell me any requirements to be approved for the holiday working visa? and what it all goes off, for example the amount of money you take over there etc? as much info as possible would be greatly appreciated! But they're easy to obtain, just have to fill out a visa form and I had mine approved within a few hours. I went over with around $5000 but no body checked. I came from a pretty corporate environment and wanted to continue so hot in touch with some recruiters and had a lot of responses. But I just went travelling instead. Loads of casual work around though. Bar work etc. Just make sure if you want bar work you get an RSA.
