Keep me in oz
My onshore partner visa subclass 820/801 was declined in 2014. I appealed the decision and have been advised by MRT that a favourable decision is imminent. Its been two years since I originally applied for the visa and if it was granted in the first instance i would now be eligible for the 801 visa... So.... what are my chances do you think? When immigration processes my visa will I just get 820 or because the 2 years has passed will I get the 801?
Guest
I'd not like to say. You can only wait and see what they decide. Depending on when you lodged the second application, the de facto time up till then would count I would hope. If its not been the 3 years or whatever it is they require, then I doubt you'd go straight to PR.
