We have decided to rent our UK property instead of selling, but this means that we will not have as much money to take with us.... So I was wondering can we still get credit on a 457 Visa ? RachelS Posted May 31, 2008 Share Posted May 31, 2008 Hi We're also going on a 457 visa & rent in the UK so won't have a lump sum to take & we've been keen to find this out too. As far as we can tell you can get credit - for cars etc - for no longer than the visa length (ie you'd have to pay back over 4 years maximum). You'll probably have to have confimation of your employment too but everyone we've spoken to has assured us that it won't be a problem.
