It will be my first NYE in Sydney so I would love to watch the fireworks. Now, here comes the catch: I will be working on the 31st :arghh:... so by the time I come home (around 5:30 pm) and get ready to hit the road again, probably most of the popular vantage points around my area are already packed so I probably won´t fit in anymore... Can anyone recommend a place around the Kirribilli/North Sydney/Neutral Bay area where you still have a chance to see the fireworks even if you arrive after 6/7 pm? I don´t mind if it´s away from the all the action, I´d be quite happy to just enjoy a good view in a residential area without the party crowds...does this exist? Tipps much appreciated!
