Bevan Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 Hi all, so I'm quickly approaching my 2 years in Australia on my sponsorship (457 VISA). Now obviously after two years it is possible to apply for permanent residency which I am extremely keen to do. Here's the kicker, I've been approached about a very similar role for a different company but the benefits are incredible, now my question is: Should they transfer my VISA am I still eligible for the new company to apply for PR? would I have to wait a further 2 years a risk having nothing at the end once it expires? or do I have to have a new 457 VISA and start from scratch?
