itegoa Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Hi all, I'm looking at Brisbane suburbs and not sure where to pick! I wondered if anyone could give recommendations. Initially we want to rent for 6 months, while looking for somewhere to buy. I'll be working in the CBD, so it needs to be within 30 minute/30km drive of the CBD (would consider a little longer for something really special). We prefer something newer and modern looking, and don't like the old style houses. Looking at Forest Lakes or Springfield Lakes areas - what are these like? (doesn't necessarily have to be near these suburbs) We have a budget of around $500/wk to rent, but would like somewhere to buy ($600K max) after 6 months. We have 2 kids (8 y/o, and 2 y/o). Would prefer somewhere near to good schools! Overall, we'd like somewhere that is SAFE/low crime And moon on a stick for a bonus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not too far from me you have Wavell heights, Kedron or Stafford Heights that could cater for this sort of rent probably. Closer to city and good schools.
