We are located 35km from Gunnedah (the Koala Capital) on the Liverpool Plains and are a family run broadacre farming and beef cattle operation with a great crew of 11 people, young & old, working here already – we just need a few extra hands for harvest! We are looking for helpers in the paddock (on a tractor, chaser bin, general machinery and maintenance) and one person to help out with domestic duties (cooking, cleaning, mowing, running people around, perhaps a bit of cattle work etc). Paddock Help Experience with machinery and farm equipment would be great but if not, a keen willingness to learn is essential! We like happy, enthusiastic people who are careful, considerate and enjoy being part of a team. Pay negotiated according to experience (per hour). Domestic Help Some cooking ability would be great. Need to show some initiative, be friendly and be able to fit in with the rest of the team. Drivers licence essential. Count toward 2nd year visa. Own accommodation will be provided on farm. Comfortable cottage with all cooking equipment and bedding etc provided. Vehicle available for use to go to town for supplies.
