Lizzie Fitzpatrick
A previous employer in India can sign a statutory declaration for the purpose of an ACS assessment
CaptainC
A statutory declaration must be witnessed by a person on a list determined by the Australian Attorney General. This person must have a connection to Australia. You can find more info on this list by going to http://www.ag.gov.au/Publications/Pages/Statutorydeclarationsignatorylist.aspx
CaptainC
A previous employer in India can sign a statutory declaration for the purpose of an ACS assessment An employer can sign a reference for a person but not a Statutory Declaration unless they are actually making the declaration. In which case the employer will need the document to be witnessed by an approved signatory, as in my post above.

Mrsfilip
No. But then it was specifically for VETASSESS. It was required to cover a period of self-employment. Although we will still have to submit it with the visa application as well.
