Still not sold the house been on market a few months hope it goes soon as it is delaying things It is all a bit scary as we have not been over to oz or have any family or friends over there. Hope everything else runs smoothly Hi Koala K Thanks for the reply just read your introduction ,the oz life seems to suit you and your family. My eldest son is really looking forward to his new life (SURFING AND BEACH) but the younger one is still unsure as long as it gets him out in the fresh air and away from the playstation will be a good thing. Guest ragner
G'day Well it looks like you have a very exciting time ahead of you.We have been here for 4 months and we live in a outer northern suburb of Brisbane and we love it.When we came out we knew nobody at all it was just me ,my wife and our 2 boys(14 and 12).Our youngest didn't want to come out here (Didn't want ot leave his mates)but once they got into school and met new mates they have really settled in and enjoying it,and nether of them want to go back.We live on the coast so they spend a lot of time on the beach or lagoon.Everyone we have met have been really helpful and friendly. So anyone that thinks it is scarey coming out here and not knowing anyone ,well it is but if you are prepared to socialise and merge with this way of life ,nobody in my oppinion will have a problem. To all that has and is getting their visa good luck and welcome to the sun. Cheers Jamie

What is the price of rental property for a 3/4 bedroom house like :?: , hope you don't mind me asking it is so hard where to decide to go with never being over there. Currently getting quotes for shipping my belongings over to oz, 20ft container with Anglo-Pacific came in at £3,800. Brittania coming in the week, this is for the Manchester region and they seem to take 5weeks on the sea but you have to allow 6to8weeks but they go every Saturday which sounds good. Changed Estate Agents today see if they can do any better selling this flaming house  . Kind Regards Karen Nigel Gaz and Adam
