We know we canget insurance cover to get us out there but once there what cover would weget/need to buy etc.? Any thoughts gratefully received! scuffythetugboat Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 You won't be able to get private insurance but you may be covered by Medicare depending on your Visa. I would ask Medicare where I stand before making any arrangements to travel. Otherwise you can always pay for everything out of your own pocket which may add up to an enormous amount of money if complications occur.
