We have booked flights from London (Heathrow) to singapore ( with a 3 day stay) then onto Perth :-) Just looking at options of getting to Heathrow - was initially thinking of getting the train down the day before and staying overnight at a hotel close to the airport - just checked out train prices - £220 (2A,2C)! so looked at car hire - £155 + petrol, looked at flights £200 from Manchester to Heathrow the day before. Car hire worries me incase there may be massive delays; trains delays and just think the price is shocking; flights not sure??? Any thoughts and has anyone done this journey with any advice?
