Valid to translate certified copy?

Hi, the ACS is demanding additional documents from me -

 

"Certified copy of your award certificate and transcript - translated"

 

- I passed in no translation.

 

So right now, the original is on the airpost way to Australia quite a long time already,

so can I let translate the certified copy in Germany instead?

Must the translation be certified again, so a second time?

Must also the German certification stamps be translated?

 

I had difficulties reading the inherent parenthesis of ACS's demand:

 

a) "(Certified copy of your award certificate and transcript) - translated"

b) "Certified copy of (your award certificate and transcript - translated)"

 

So obviously I cannot provide b) right now as the translator expects to see the original I guess?

 

Or - as I have a scan of both the original and the certified copy, are the scans sufficient to let it be translated in Australia bei NAATI?
