Are u low or high risk?

High risk main applicant, low risk partner. Main applicant had student visas 5 years but 10 years ago. Vetassess assessment done 7-8 months ago positive assessment for 4 years work experience. I think all of these things would have added to the fast processing.

Thanks to all for the well wishes.

It's the 4th week since our 457 visa application has been lodged and the current status is still APPLICATION RECEIVED AND WILL BE ASSESSED SOON. Do you guys have an idea how many weeks will it usually take to change the status to ASSESSMENT ON PROGRESS?

Thanks!

Hi

Our status went directly from application received to finalised with nothing in between! sponsorship, nomination and visa was approved within minutes of each other in 41 working days.

(low risk country, family with child off shore)

I think it its straight forward with no extra documents required it goes seems to go straight through.

We did use an MA and no further documents were required but our MA was very thorough

Good Luck

Hi all, been following the thread for a few weeks and just at the very start of the process, our application etc has been sent to MA (we are using the same one as sponsor) will they inform me when the sponsorship and nomination has been submitted to the department of immigration?
