Nearlythere1
Hi folks, Just a quick one. Just need confirmation really, that our eldest can't have a 2nd WHV ten years after having done one already. Is it 1 year WHV, possibly extended to 2, then that's your lot, even years later etc? Thanks in advance :notworthy:
Ozmaniac
Yes and no. The second WHV doesn't need to be taken directly after the first and can be applied for any time before you turn 31. There can be a break of several years in between the two visas BUT ONLY if the qualifying work for the second WHV was done during the first WHV and you have evidence to support your claim of having done the work. If your son didn't do the qualifying work 10 years ago so that he met the eligibility requirements for a second WHV, he's out of luck.

Thanks for the response Ozmaniac, similar to what i'd thought, didn't realise you could split the 2 years though. However, she didn't do the qualifying 3 months for the 2nd year back then, so on to plan B.. Thanks again.. :notworthy:
