Cathay Pacific Anyone?

Just wondered if anyone has any recent experience flying Oz-UK with Cathay Pacific?

 

Understand there were some previous issues with the shell seats, but from what I can gather this has largely been rectified.

 

Usually fly with Singapore but possibly departing from Cairns this time which isn't one of their locations.

I don't know anything about shell seats but we flew with Cathay Pacific last December and didn't have any problems at all. We had plenty of leg room, and we enjoyed it - as much as you can enjoy a 23+ flight LOL

I have flown in the last year with them from Cairns to the UK and back again. Again no problems and happy with the service.

Don't know anything about the shell seats though.

I have flown with them twice from NZ to the UK, and out of all the airlines I've flown with (Cathay, Singapore, Royal Brunei, Japan Airlines, Emirates) I liked them the best.

never had a problem - not the best but pretty good nonetheless. They tend to have good deals if you're flexible with dates.
