Guest Guest26110
Hi guys, as a permanent resident in Australia, if you were to buy products or use services in the UK, are you VAT exempt? Im currently marketing my UK home for sale, im thinking I wont have to pay vat to the solicitor and estate agent on top of their fees. Am I right or wrong? Thanks
Suzukiscottie
Wrong. VAT refund/exemption is for goods being exported. However, if you ask nicely, your solicitor might do a deal for cash! *cough* [emoji56]
