I'm currently living with 3 friends in london, we all work in the area but are currently fed up with the life in england. We have all recently discussed a move to aus possibly to sydney we all have fairly good careers here, but we request some advise on housing arrangments and work placements. PLEASE HELP! Guest spray21 Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 You have two obvious options - a working holiday visa, which is quite straightforward to apply for but does restrict your options once there and limits your time there too. Or a skills-based application, for which you would need to demonstrate that you are qualified/experienced in a trade/profession that is on Australia's 'wanted' list. Or you could alternatively try to get a job in Oz with a company who will organise a visa for you - which would be an employer-sponsored visa. What kind of housing advice do you need? Have a look on realestate.com.au to browse the kind of places and prices that are around at the moment. Also check out seek.com.au for jobs.
