English lad looking to meet new mates, recently moved to Sydney for work from the uk, via Melbourne! Are there any kind of meet ups or does anyone on here fancy meeting for a beer? I was in the Royal Exhibition Hotel on Sat night amongst a mixed bag of West Ham Utd and Crystal Palace fans, then on Sunday night with the Spurs fans watching our game with QPR at the Triple Aces bar. Somewhere like 'Cheers' in George St, will find many of the other clubs' fans out to watch games. Alternatively, if you play a sport, that's another way to do it. I know some guys who have made their friends playing squash. Then there is 'Meet Ups', or perhaps just find a pub and make it your 'local?'
