We are looking to buy a sole trader business locally but have a few questions.... Is there a site like Company house in Victoria to obtain records about the business? Do you have to pay any tax/duty when purchasing a business? ... Rough estimate of accountant/solicitor costs for assessment/sale are there transfer fees to change ownership?
