where do i lodge 101 child PR visa in USA and how do i pay

Hi All,

 

I am an Indian citizen and me and my wife hold Australia PR visa.

 

We are presently in USA and our child was born here and she has a USA passport.

 

I now need to apply for my child's Australia PR(subclass 101).

 

Any idea where do i lodge her application? Do i need to lodge it in USA or post the application to Australia, secondly how do i pay for the Visa fees?

Please forgive me if you are the wrong person but didn't you recently ask about filling in form 47 CH? If so, I am assuming you have applied for PR for your child?

Yes I am the same person and i am in process of filling up all the details, i am almost done with 47CH and now got to do form 40 and other documentation, so you may see more questions from me , thanks for the help from everyone in advance.

 

I tried to search a lot on DIAC site regarding where to apply but found no information. However i have come across Australian embassy address in Washington and there is a phone number as well.

 

I plan to call them tomorrow and I will see if they can help. If they do then i will update this thread so it may help others and close this topic

You lodge the application at the Australian Embassy in Washington - that's where visa and citizenship services are managed for clients in the USA.
