MovingtoTasmania Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 You need to provide your CO with the dates that you will be on-shore and where you will be. Plus contact details. If you are still onf-shore at the time that your VISA is granted, then your CO will tell you that you need to leave Australia (I'm presuming that's where you will be on-shore) for at least 3 working days as the VISA is electronic and the systems need to update. Also, ensure that you aren't applying for your tourist VISA too late in the process as if the TV is granted after the partner visa, then it will cancel out the partner visa. Ensure that you keep your CO updated with all your up to date contact details. There are lots of posts about this on the offshore partner processing times thread.
