He is seriously thinking about training to be an electrician but I cant find any info on how he would go about this as he is not typically the kind of apprentice you would expect as he is in his late 30's. Do companies offer apprentiships for mature trainees? Also any idea how much he could expect to earn whilst training? We will have PR.
