Britpop Posted April 7, 2014 Share Posted April 7, 2014 You can apply now with your current one and just send them the details of the new passport once you get it. I did that, no problem at all. Don't know how easy it is if you want to travel on the old one then change it once you get here, but you usually need to have over 6 months on you passport to fly anyway so that said if you're in no hurry, wait and get the new one and do it all then. You can add up to 6 months from the old one onto the new one so worse case you'll only lose 6 months which over 10 years is no big deal really.
