My wife and I are permanent residents in Victoria and she is going through the police recruitment process. They want a certificate showing she has no convictions from UK but the only one we can find that might be suitable is the ACPO (ACRO) one that you use to get you visa. The certificate says it is for immigration purposes though. Victoria police haven't got back to us to tell us whether it is suitable or not. I just wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation and knows if this is the right certificate or there is another one we need??
